Q:
Can you tell me if your flavors are oil? Water based? Is
there
anything else in the flavors? Are they as strong as
LorAnn's? Are they manufactured here in the states?
A:
Our flavors are manufactured in the States and are water (and or PG) based, with no sugars,
oils or colors added. They are as strong as LorAnn's, however
they are nowhere near as sweet or "candy-like." Much
more natural tasting and not cloying.
Q:
Can the flavorless liquid be cut with PG and/or VG?
A:
Yes, you can cut with either PG or VG.
Q:
I have read quite a few recipes. Do you have any
recommendations?
A:
As far as recipes go, I recommend you just try what you like.
Start with a few drops in small batches, make notes and build up to
something you enjoy.
Q:
I am a menthol smoker (or should I say was) and have found that
the
Menthol e-liquid I'm currently using is not really Menthol
enough, so I have
ordered both, the menthol drops and the
crystals. Can I just add either of
them to my existing
e-liquid? The crystals do not need to be diluted
first,
correct?
A:
The menthol can be used with any flavor (some people swear by
menthol peach!), but if you are trying to duplicate a real cig you
need to use the menthol with a commercial tobacco e-liquid. The
crystals can be used as is, but they are very hard to measure
consistently. We offer the drops so that recipes can be
duplicated accurately. A drop is always a drop.
Q:
Does it look like you will have a continued stock of most of
your
products?
A:
We order from
multiple sources to try and ensure we stay in stock. If we are
out of stock on any of the liquids, we don't anticipate more than a
week delay.
Q:
When you suggest using a commercial tobacco e-liquid, do you mean
start off with a menthol e-liquid and add to it or a non-menthol
e-liquid (like Marlboro flavored) and add to it – but don’t
use a flavorless e-liquid (like the ones you carry)?
A:
Yes use Marlboro, Camel or Cigar and add either crystals or drops
(easier.)
Q:
I know there’s room for experimentation with the flavorings,
so I’m assuming that for very ml you add of flavoring, you
would just subtract the same from the PG/VG, right?
A:
With the JuicePaks, you don't need to subtract (hence 27ml not 30).
If you are cutting, it gets tricky. For one thing a JP has
enough flavor for 30ml of liquid. So if you cut to 12mg you
would need to add 54ml of PG/VG to the 36mg giving you 81ml liquid.
5.5ml of flavor is not enough. You would want to measure 27ml
out of the 81ml and flavor that with the FlavorPak. Leaving you
54ml of flavorless to play with LorAnn or whatever.
Q:
When I mix, should I add distilled water or does your flavoring
already have enough in it?
A:
No need to add water unless you are cutting with VG and it seems too
thick. Water decreases vapor.
Q:
I am a sugar addict and do like sweets (but haven’t tried
vaping a dessert yet). You suggest adding a clear vanilla
extract. Do you sell this or is it something you can buy at the
grocery store?
A:
Yes, clear vanilla from the store is just fine. Be sure to
decrease the amount of flavor accordingly as the vanilla will amplify
the flavor somewhat. You do not want to go much over 20% flavor
in your mixes.
Q:
What is the difference between PG & VG, and which one should I
use?
A:
A very small percentage of people exhibit a
sensitivity to PG liquid and prefer VG base instead.
PG
produces a vapor which disperses quickly upon exhale, while VG makes
a thicker vapor which lingers a bit.
VG is "sweeter" and
tends to influence flavors more than PG.
It is basically a matter
of preference unless you have a physical aversion (allergy) to PG.
Q: I did the test as instructed on the
card and YUMMY, liked it so much I just dumped the whole bottle of
flavor in the 18mg PG bottle, gives great throat hit, but no vapor on
the exhale. Can I remedy this by adding more 18 mg PG from one of the
other bottles I purchased into one the original flavor bottle now
empty? Love the flavor but miss my visual exhale.
A: PG tends to have less vapor on
exhale. If you have some VG, you can add a little of that to it and
it should improve your vapor. Try 5% at first. That should give
you a noticable difference. You can go as high as you want, but
obviously it will lower the nic strength of your mix. In the future
you should mix VG e-liquid in the same nic strength. That way
you can avoid lowering your nic level.
Q: Do you ship to Canada?
A: Yes! We now ship to Canada but
NON-NICOTINE orders only. This is due to legal issues. The shipping
cost is the same as it is to US customers, but orders to Canada will
be sent first class rather than priority. (This is due to cost.)
